City Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus, celebrated the 90th birth anniversary of its beloved Founder Manager – Dr Jagdish Gandhi Sir through a series of meaningful activities that honoured his vision, values, and legacy. Students from all sections participated in this commemorative event, which included several impactful activities. The Junior Section organized a special prayer assembly featuring heartfelt memories, quotes, and achievements inspired by the Sir. A presentation highlighted his vision and contributions, fostering gratitude and respect among students. The Principal also paid tribute, sharing inspiring stories that underscored his commitment to education and compassion.
The Pre-Primary and Class I students held a tree-planting ceremony, where they planted saplings to create a garden dedicated to our Respected Sir.This act symbolized environmental responsibility and the long-lasting impact of his teachings on future generations.
The Senior Section organized a solemn memorial tribute with a silent procession and candle march, providing a reflective space for students to honour the Sir’s life and values. The Primary Section participated in an essay and art competition, where students creatively expressed the Founder’s influence on their lives.
Additionally, a “Memory Soft Board” was set up for the Primary and Junior sections, allowing students, staff, and alumni to post notes and photos, creating a shared remembrance space. The Primary and Junior students also engaged in a charity event, visiting an orphanage to distribute gifts in his memory, teaching compassion and social responsibility. Through these activities, the campus celebrated his lasting impact and encouraged students to uphold his values and legacy.
